A Chesterfield, Missouri Car Accident Leaves Teacher and Son Injured

Post Date: September 5th, 2011

A Chesterfield, Missouri car accident ended with a popular Whitfield teacher and her son suffering serious injuries. The accident happened Friday night as Janet Esrock and her son Jonathan Esrock left a high school football game. A Chevy Tahoe that was speeding down Wildhorse Creek Road hit Janet Esrock, a teacher and coach at the high school, and her son, a sophomore at the high school. Although the Missouri State Highway Patrol did not release a crash report for the Missouri car accident, but local reports state the Chevy Tahoe was driven by a 53-year-old and the accident could have been caused by alcohol.

The Missouri head-on collision required the Esrocks to be extracted from the vehicle by the Monarch Fire Protection District paramedics. The Missouri car accident victims were rushed to St. John’s Mercy hospital. Janet Esrock was reported to require a respirator to breathe and her son had to have surgery for a number of broken bones. A Whitfield High School official sent a pubic email letting the community know that the Missouri car accident victims were sedated and could not see visitors from the broader community at this time.

Missouri car accidents are stressful enough, but they become more distressing when a member of the community is injured. The car accident victim must deal with the injuries suffered from the accident and the family must deal with the financial burdens of lost wages and medical bills. Members of the community such as friends, students, and colleagues have to deal with the emotions surrounding the uncertainty of the accident victim’s recovery. When an intoxicated driver is on the road, he or she endangers everyone.

Although Missouri car accident attorneys cannot heal the accident victim or the community, they can help the victim recover the financial loss that was a result of the accident. Missouri car accident victims can recover money associated with lost wages, medical bills, and pain and suffering. If you have been injured in a car accident, please consult an experienced Missouri car accident attorney immediately. Seeking legal counsel soon after an accident is essential to building a case against the intoxicated driver. Call 888.956.2487 to discuss your car accident claim and let us investigate on your behalf.

Seven Injured in Cass County, Missouri on Independence Day

Post Date: July 13th, 2011

A multivehicle Missouri car accident on Independence Day leaves seven young adults injured. The car accident occurred at 1:30 a.m. in Cass County, Missouri on MO-58 just east of Prairie Lane. The multivehicle Missouri car accident began as 18-year-old Brandyn P. Stewart’s 2003 Pontiac Grand AM struck the rear of 21-year-old Jereth D. Schrock’s 2000 Ford Mustang. The force of the accident caused Schrock’s vehicle to pull off the right side of the road into a nearby field.

Stewart’s vehicle continued down the road and made its way across the centerline. Stewart hit 18-year-old Trevor D. Williams’ 2003 Dodge 1500 head-on. Williams’ vehicle rolled several times until it stopped off the highway. A total of seven people were injured in the multivehicle Missouri car accident. Trevor D. Williams and his passengers, 18-year-old Joshua A. Ogan, and 17-year-old Taylor N. Hood, were seriously injured in the accident. Jereth D. Schrock and one of his passengers, 20-year-old Emily K. Warren sustained moderate injuries. His other passenger, 18-year-old Jaque J. Willis sustained only minor injuries.

The young adults injured in the multivehicle Missouri car accident were taken to local hospitals Truman Medical Center, Research Hospital, Overland Park Regional, and KU Medical Center by Belton EMS, South Metro EMS, Lifeflight Eagle, and a private vehicle. The accident report did not specify whether or not alcohol played a role in the accident. Holiday celebrations increase the risk of alcohol-related accident since many festivities include drinking. In 2008, statistics showed that alcohol-related accidents contributed to more than 3,500 car accidents. Dealing with an alcohol-related accident can be stressful for many Missouri car accident victims.

Every person who is in an alcohol-related Missouri car accident should do the following: Meet with an experienced Missouri car accident attorney, take a defensive driving course, and seek counseling if needed. An experienced Missouri car accident attorney will help the injured party recover for medical bills, pain, and suffering. A defensive driving course will help the car accident victim to be as prepared as possible to avoid car accidents in the future. Drunk Driving Accident Results In Death of Belleville, IL Man

Post Date: January 14th, 2011

Belleville, IL Drunk Driving LawyerYou’ve read many times about the effect alcohol can have when paired with a motor vehicle. Thousands of people die every year in alcohol-related car crashes. As a Missouri car accident attorney, I was disappointed to read that another drunk driver has taken the life of another innocent victim. On December 10, 2010, three vehicles were involved in a drunk driver accident that claimed

On Friday December 10, 2010 around 11:30 p.m. a three-car accident killed one man and sent two to the hospital with serious injuries. Around 11:30 p.m. A 33-year-old man from Swansea was driving his Lincoln east on St. Clair Avenue near 70th Street when a Dodge Neon driving well over the speed limit crossed the centerline and hit him head-on. As a result of the head-on collision, the Lincoln caught on fire and the driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Neon, an 18-year-old Belleville man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The passenger of the Neon was not wearing his seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. The 21-year-old from Fairview Heights was also taken to the hospital for serious injuries.

When the head-on collision occurred, the engine block of the Neon became detached and hit a Dodge Ram truck driving by a 22-year-old man from Belleville. The driver of the Ram was not injured. According to authorities, the 18-year-old driver of the Neon was under the influence of alcohol and a full investigation is in progress. The negligence of a motorist who decides to drive under the influence of alcohol can be devastating. Not only will the drunk driver face criminal charges, but they will also face the civil courts. If you or someone you love has been injured or died at the hands of a drunk driver, call 888.956.2487 today. 3rd DUI Charge for James Griesbaum Results in Death for Other Driver in Illinois Car Accident

Post Date: October 12th, 2010

As a St Louis Car Accident Lawyer, I have seen the destruction wrought in many people’s lives due to car accidents, and had the privilege of bringing justice to the innocent so that they have the means to move on.

How do cars collide head-on on perfectly straight pieces of road? It seems inexplicable, but exhaustion or inattention due to distractions or alcohol consumption are often the reasons. When these factors are involved, you should ask yourself whether or not it is a misnomer to call such an incident an accident. Can it be an accident if the driver has done something to make the chances of an accident much more likely, or is it something much more sinister.

I use the word sinister here because I want to bring to your attention to the Driving Under the Influence (DUI) charges against James Griesbaum. This man is facing DUI charges after a head-on collision which killed one woman, Barbara Green, and seriously injured another, Ressie Woodcock, when his vehicle crossed into on-coming traffic and crashed head-on into their vehicle. He faces three charges and could spend 14 years in jail if convicted of all three felonies.

But there is more. This is the third DUI charge he has faced.  As an Illinois car accident attorney, I know not everyone is guilty of the charges they face, but  we need to consider what happens down the road if they were guilty and continued to behave recklessly.

If an overzealous officer books you erroneously, you deserve a fair hearing. But when you are accused of DUI twice and you refuse to take a blood test, something sinister appears to be going on.

Third time unlucky, but unlucky for whom? Having beaten the charges twice, it is conceivable that Griesbaum could pull it off again. As a Car Accident Lawyer for the victims of DUI accidents and other felonies, I am concerned about the outcome of the trial in the Griesbaum case and what happens to his victims.

Surviving such an accident may turn out to be a nightmare if your accident insurance does not provide for specialized medical treatment and equipment that may be needed to get the best out of life, and this is where I can help. As a Car Accident Attorney in the Illinois area, I can make sure that you get everything you are due and that you are not duped by a manipulative insurance agent into accepting less than is your right. If you need my help, contact me.
